Question:How many weeks of the Electronic Official Gazette - Patents will be available on the USPTO web site?

Answer:
Current plans are to maintain one year on the web site. To locate patents announced in earlier OGs, search the USPTO Patent Full Text Database by patentee name, keyword, current classification, or patent number.

Question:Color drawings are allowed after a petition is granted stating why the colored drawing is needed

Answer:
The Office will accept color drawings in utility or design patent applications and statutory invention registrations only after granting a petition filed under this paragraph explaining why the color drawings are necessary.

Question:Applicants must submit amendments to drawings as replacement or new drawings together with explanations of the changes

Answer:
Applicant must submit any amendments to drawings as replacement or new drawings accompanied by explanations of the changes in either the drawing amendment section or remarks section of the amendment paper. Any replacement sheets of drawings must be labeled as "Replacement Sheet" and any new sheets of drawings must be labeled as "New Sheet" in the header.
